Modern labelling machines with speeds of up to 500 labels/min will only reach their full capacity if the downtime incurred when changing rolls and disposing of the rolls of empty liner can be eliminated.

A roll change that can be performed at any time brings a further benefit: completely separating the roll change and splicing procedures may result in lower staffing requirements on the packaging line.

Not only does JetSplice® allow you to choose when the procedures are carried out, it also lets you choose where. Roll changes and splicing on stand-alone splicers can be moved away from areas with a high hazard potential for operating personnel, such as robotic packaging lines, or from areas with strict hygiene standards (e.g. filling processes in cleanrooms).
